A task list that assumes you have never solved one, with no lab to set up. Web, crypto, reversing, forensics, pwn and osint sit side by side, each rated by difficulty, and every flag goes into the same submission box. No counter is published.
Pros & cons
Pros
- No VM, no VPN, no lab setup: register, read a statement, submit
- Ratings let you start at the bottom instead of guessing where to begin
- Covers osint and forensics, two categories most lists drop
Cons
- An account is required before you can submit anything or keep a score
- Writeups are thin and sometimes wrong, a few tasks are badly proofread
- Nothing marks a task as stale, so the easy ones get solved by everyone first
Who it fits
Fits a beginner who wants a flag tonight rather than a curriculum, and a tester who wants to touch one category each quarter. Once the easy tier is done, move on: there is no depth here to grind.
Getting started
- Register and take the lowest-rated web task, read the whole statement first
- Give it twenty minutes before opening a hint, the ratings are honest about effort
- Move between categories deliberately, the coverage is the reason to be here
History
Long positioned as the friendly front door to CTF practice, and still adding tasks. Verification found registration, submission and scoring working normally. It is one of the larger beginner-facing lists in English, but it publishes no official total, so the size usually quoted about it is hearsay rather than a counter.
