A Russian-language platform with over 400 challenges across eight categories, including the steganography most platforms skip. Flagged tasks sit next to virtual machines and theory material. The running season is free; the archive is behind premium.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Russian material for theory and machines alike, no translation layer in between
- Eight categories, including the steganography most platforms skip
- The live season stays free to play
Cons
- Some challenges want an account, some machines want your own lab first
- Russian only, and English terms are often left untranslated in the statements
- Everything outside the current season, older machines included, sits behind premium
Who it fits
Fits when English is what slows you down: theory reads natively while flags still submit as they are. Good for a first hundred solves, weaker once you need current material.
Getting started
- Register, then take the easiest web challenges to learn how flags are submitted
- Stand up a VirtualBox lab if a challenge expects a machine of your own
- Keep a solved list per category so the gaps stay visible
History
Grew out of the Russian community and moved to a paid model: the current season is free, while the archive and some theory sit behind premium. The count passed 400 challenges, seasons and machines keep being updated, and the community around it is still active.
